Key Dates.
The Wiley PTA leads and supports a number of programs and events throughout the year. Here are some key dates to know about.

Raise Craze Kindness Week
Monday, 3/23 Dreaming of Kindness: Wear your favorite PJs
Tuesday, 3/24 Double the Kindness Twosday: Dress alike with a friend
Wednesday, 3/25 Kindness Starts at the Top: Hat Day
Thursday, 3/26 Kindness in Action: Character/Hero Day
Friday, 3/27 Celebration Day: Staff and students wear their Raise Craze t-shirts. Families are invited for lunch on cafeteria lawn (schedule below).
Enjoy music from DJ Supreme. Students will receive one free Kona Ice, and if we reach our school-wide goal of 1,500 AOKs, you’ll see our school staff do something CRAZE-Y! Plus, we’ll announce the classroom with the most AOKs.

Spirit Day at Players Retreat
Join us for Spirit Day at Players Retreat any time between 11am - midnight.
Mention “Wiley Elementary “ when ordering in person and Wiley PTA will receive 10% of sales.

Service Raleigh Event
Join us for NC State’s annual Service Raleigh event. Volunteers from NC State will join Wiley volunteers for a Garden and Grounds Day on the school campus. More details to come!
International Carnival
Wiley families, please join us for an evening of student and community performances at our annual International Carnival.

Spirit Day at Goodberry’s
Join us for Spirit Day at Goodberry’s in the Village District from 11am - 10pm.
They will be donating 20% of sales back to the Wiley PTA!
Kindergarten Orientation
Rising Kindergarteners and their families are invited to meet other Kindergarten families and our wonderful Kindergarten teachers and Wiley staff at Kindergarten Orientation!
Science Night
Join us Tuesday, May 19, from 5:30–7 PM for our annual Wiley Science Night!
Drop in anytime to explore hands-on science stations, and enjoy pay-what-you-can pizza.

Languages and Electives Showcase

Wiley Spirit Day at Irregardless Cafe
Join us for a Wiley Spirit Day/Night at Irregardless Cafe! Irregardless will donate 5% of their sales for lunch and dinner to Wiley PTA.
Lunch runs from 11:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Dinner runs from 4:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Fall Book Fair
Wiley PTA has partnered with local bookstore Quail Ridge Books for our annual Fall Book Fair. A portion of the proceeds from the Book Fair will be donated to the Wiley PTA to help support Wiley students and staff.
Students will first attend the Book Fair at the beginning of the week with their classroom, where they can browse books and create wishlists. Parents can send students to school with money to purchase books, or they can purchase books for their students.
National School Lunch Day (Day 2)
The National School Lunch Program (NSLP) serves nearly 30 million children every school day. President John F. Kennedy created National School Lunch Week (NSLW) in 1962 to promote the importance of a healthy school lunch in a child’s life and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom.
Parents are welcomed and encouraged to join your students for lunch today!
