Volunteer Opportunities
Wiley PTA programs and events would not be possible without the generous support of our volunteers. Your involvement greatly benefits our students and our school as a whole. It's also an excellent way to connect with other caregivers and strengthen our sense of community.
Current volunteer needs are listed below. Please check back as needs change frequently throughout the school year.
Fall Book Fair
We’re excited to partner with Quail Ridge Books for our Fall Book Fair, taking place in the Media Center from October 27–31. We need your help to make the book fair a success! Please consider signing up for a time slot during the event—it’s a fun and rewarding way to support our students.
Grounds Volunteers
Calling All High Schoolers! Help Wiley and Earn Service Hours
Do you have a high schooler or know one in need of service hours? Wiley PTA is launching a Junior Sustainability Committee this spring! We’re inviting high school students to help with grounds work at Wiley every weekend in April and early May, with two-hour volunteer shifts available. It’s a great way for older students to give back to their elementary roots—plus it helps keep our campus looking beautiful for our Wiley students!

Tools4Schools
WakeEd Partnership’s #Tools4Schools is looking for volunteers to help stock shelves, sort and package supplies, count inventory, and welcome educators. The Tools4Schools store provides free classroom supplies to nearly 11,000 WCPSS teachers, helping ensure every student has what they need to succeed in learning.
