Join the Kindness Movement: Your Raise Craze Guide
What’s Raise Craze?
We are excited to bring back our spring PTA fundraiser, Raise Craze, for its second year! Running from Monday, 3/9 to Friday, 3/27, this kindness-driven fundraiser helps support our school while encouraging students to give back to the community.
Raise Craze is not your typical fundraising campaign. Students will pledge to perform at least 3 acts of kindness (AOKs), and in return, their family, friends, and acquaintances sponsor those AOKs with a flat monetary donation.
Why Raise Craze and not Fun Run?
There are many reasons but here are a few highlights:
Everyone can participate by completing AOKs. No one is left out!
Reinforces kindness and closely aligns with the Wiley Way
Less disruption to instructional time than a Fun Run
Wiley PTA keeps at least 90% of Raise Craze donations instead of 50% of Fun Run donations
Our Raise Craze goals are $23,000 and a school-wide total of 1,500 AOKs!
How will the funds be used?
These funds will go toward supporting:
Curriculum enrichment through cultural arts programs and classroom technology purchases
Teachers and staff through supply stipends, professional development grants, appreciation events, gifts and Room Parents
School resources through capital improvements, classroom supplies, media center books and sustainability projects
Family engagement events like Fall Festival, International Carnival, Talent Show and 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony and more
How it Works
Beginning Monday, March 9, caregivers can register their student(s) on the Raise Craze website using a phone, tablet, or computer. If you registered last year, you’ll need to register again, as families must re-register each year to participate in the fundraiser.
Click the “Register” button below to get started and enter code “419-080”.
Click ”Wiley Elementary PTA” and enter your email address, new password, your birth month, and your birth year. Check the box next to “I have read and agree to Raise Craze's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.” Click “Create Account.”
Under “Student Registration” enter the number of students to register. Then enter your student’s name(s) and upload one photo of your student(s). The name(s) you enter here will be displayed as the sender for your emails.
Below the photo, complete the “Participant’s Profile” (one per student). Enter each student’s first and last name and select homeroom teacher from the dropdown menu. Once you’ve entered all students in your family, click “Next Acts of Kindness.”
Now choose at least 3 Acts of Kindness (AOKs) for your student(s) to complete. You can select as many as you want from the dropdown menus or create your own at the bottom. You can add additional AOKs for your student at any time during the fundraiser, even after registration is complete. Once completed, click “Next Donors.”
On the “Reach Out to Family and Friends” page, enter the names and email addresses of prospective donors. Enter as many names and email addresses as you’d like. You can add additional names and email addresses at any time during the fundraiser, even after registration is complete. Raise Craze will send the emails on your behalf.* Hit “Next.”
Now, you’ll see your family’s dashboard. Here, you’ll see additional ways to share your student’s fundraiser with potential donors. Share your post to social media with a message to your
Help us reach our schoolwide AOK goal of 1500 Acts of Kindness! As your student completes AOKs, log in to “Check Off Your AOKs” so your student gets credit for their classroom and grade! You can also view the total dollar amount currently raised by your student(s).
*Email addresses will never be shared with third parties or used for marketing. Prospective donors will receive three emails during the fundraising period. If you prefer not to share email addresses, hit “Next” and get a link to the page(s) from your family’s dashboard that you can share via socials or text.

Friday, 3/27 Celebration Day: Families are invited to join their students for lunch on the Wiley cafeteria lawn! Check the grade-level schedule below and enjoy music from DJ Supreme. Wiley students will receive one free Kona Ice, and if we reach our school-wide goal of 1,500 AOKs, you’ll see Principal Avery do something CRAZE-Y! Plus, we’ll announce the classroom with the most AOKs.
