Fall Afterschool Clubs

Clubs run Tuesday afternoons for 6 weeks from 4:15 - 5:30pm (Students remain at Wiley upon dismissal and are supervised until clubs begin).

The Wiley PTA coordinates three six-week sessions of clubs throughout the school year. The clubs are administered by TEK, which pays our teachers to lead the clubs. Participation in clubs supports our teachers. TEK will send club placement information once registration is closed.


Club Dates: Tuesdays, 9/30 - 11/18/25 (skipping 11/4. 11/11)

Chess Mates 

Grades K-5

Taught by Mackenzie Dull

Come learn all about the exciting game of chess! This playful clear-cut game encourages problem solving and analytical skills, positive self-esteem, as well as verbal and memory reasoning. Join the chess club and become a critical thinker as you learn the skills to play this fun, thought provoking game. This club is geared to beginner and intermediate players. Repeat club members welcome- we’ll pick up right where we left off!


Lego Mania- Build, Create, Explore!

Grades K-3

Taught by  Denya Hewitt 

Join us for an exciting LEGO Club where imagination meets engineering! This hands-on club encourages creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through fun building challenges and themed activities. Each week, students will explore basic engineering concepts as they build structures and unique creations using LEGO bricks. From designing bridges and towers to creating simple moving parts, every session offers a new opportunity to learn, build, and have fun! No experience necessary—just bring your creativity and love for building!


DIY-Not? Club
Grades 1–5

Taught by Katie Ware

Get ready to create, craft, and explore your imagination in the DIY-Not? Club! In this fun, hands-on, workshop-style club, students will tap into their creativity and resourcefulness to design and build unique, sustainably sourced projects each week. From gooey slime and colorful jewelry to pencil holders, sun catchers, reusable grocery bags, and more—every session offers a new and exciting DIY adventure. Students will learn how to work with a variety of materials while exploring the importance of sustainability and self-expression. Come join the DIY fun—you never know what you’ll create next!


Secret Agents of Kindness Club - S.A.K.C

Grades 1-5

Have you always wanted to be a secret agent? Do you enjoy doing kind things for others? Then you should join S.A.K.C. Secret Agents of Kindness club! In the "Secret Agents" club students perform anonymous acts of kindness for their friends, family and fellow students/teachers. Kindness projects will include a compliments bookmark challenge, kindness origami, friendship shrinky dink keychains, a be kind scavenger hunt and much more.  Come join the S.A.K.C and see how cool kindness can be! 



Wiley Spirit Squad

Grades 2-5

Taught by Karsen Ward 

Get ready to jump, cheer, and have fun! This beginner-level cheerleading club is perfect for students in grades 2–5 who want to learn the basics of cheer. We'll start each session with fun stretches and warm-ups, then move into learning simple cheer motions, short routines, and beginner jumps. Students will also be introduced to very basic stunting with a strong focus on safety and teamwork. No experience is needed—just bring your energy and school spirit! Boys and girls are welcome!




Spark Lab! 

Grades 3-5 

Taught by Quentin Murray  

Get ready to spark curiosity and ignite imagination!  The Spark Lab is an exciting club where young scientists dive into the worlds of STEM through hands-on, minds-on experiments and challenges. Each week, students will become real scientists as they explore bubbling reactions, build crazy contraptions, and solve fun engineering problems—just like the pros! Students will learn how science works in the real world—all while having a blast! 



Wiley Strikers - Soccer Club 

Grades 4-5 

Taught by Ed Gonzaleas  

Join us for a fun and active after-school soccer club designed just for 4th and 5th graders! This club  focuses on building fundamental soccer skills like dribbling, passing, shooting, and defending, while also encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and a love for the game. Each session includes skill-building drills, small group games, and friendly scrimmages where players can practice what they’ve learned in a supportive and energetic environment. Whether you are new to soccer or looking to improve, this club offers a great mix of learning and play!
